1. Anterior – Maximum Engagement Segment

· Full size dimension
· Engages Centrals and Laterals
· Maximum slot engagement
· Full expression of bracket preangulations
· Offset gingivally for intrusive forces on incisors
· Intrusive force on incisors also increases torque
· Offset can be positioned incisally should incisor extrusion be desired

2. Intermediate – Overlap Segment

· Interproximal between Laterals and Cuspids
· Oversized dimension rigidly supports the horizontal and vertical planes
· Overlap offsets the anterior segment gingivally achieving intrusion and torque
· Offset can alternatively be oriented incisally for anterior extrusion

3. Posterior – Free Sliding Segment

· Engages Cuspids, Bicuspids and Molars
· Undersized dimension allows free sliding retraction
· XR1™ Heat Treated Stainless Steel for increased strength & resiliency.
